Zegeye Yohannis is an experienced senior expert mental health professional specialist with over 15 years of expertise in clinical practice, academia, and leadership roles in Ethiopia. He holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Clinical and Community Mental Health.
Currently, Zegeye is the President of the Ethiopian Mental Health Association (EMHA), member of Executive Committee of the Ethiopian Professional Associations Alliance (EPAA) and the Research and Training Director at Amanuel Mental Specialized Hospital, where he leads significant mental health initiatives throughout the country. His work includes research, postgraduate education, and the development of national mental health strategies.
