Thirty-three years of proven progressive record of accomplishment in leading and managing development programs at local, national and international settings (Ethiopia, Somaliland and Sudan). Responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary professionals high and middle, diverse culture level managers, Responsible for broad range of functions including Financial Management, Humanitarian Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, IT, Security, and Fund raising at different INGO&UN.
Recognized as an empowering and result oriented leader and manager. Outfitted with practical skills on; strategic planning, program design and development, policy research, analysis, advocacy and campaigns, analytical problem solving, programming rights based approach to development, fund raising, community mobilization, management and coordination emergencies and relief, networking and partnership building.
Yonas Woldesemayat is known for his passion for humanitarian activities and participated in various social activities and commitments on a voluntary base. He has served as President /Vice President for Society of Human Resource Management in Ethiopia, Vice President / Public Relation for Commercial Graduate Association. Founding member / President for Ethiopian Road Safety Association and Coalition of Civil Society Organizations for Ethiopians, “CoCSE”, the founder and Board member (Auditor)
Yonas has a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Graduate School of Addis Ababa University and different Short-term certification training on Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Information Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. He was a par time Addis Ababa University Lecturer for Humanitarian Supply Chain Management and prepared Teaching Module for Supply Chain Management and Research on the Current Status of Professional Association in Ethiopia and many different research papers. Moreover, A Certificate Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS); certified “Diploma in Strategic Public Procurement – CIPS Level IV”; based in London, United Kingdom; December 2018.
