Ato Nebiyu Gebretsadik Alisho is a lifelong learner whose academic achievements speak volumes about his commitment to personal and professional growth. He holds two Master’s degrees from the Ethiopian Civil Service University one in Development Management (2023) and another in Public Financial Management (2020). He also earned two Bachelor’s degrees: a B.A. in Business Administration from Addis Ababa University of Commerce (2011) and a B.A. in Educational Planning and Management from St. Mary’s University (2024). His academic journey began with a Diploma in Physics from Kotebe Metropolitan University (2005), laying a solid scientific foundation for his multifaceted career.
Ato Nebiyu’s professional path reflects an unwavering dedication to education and leadership. He began as a Physics teacher at Aster Bette Fikir School (ABFS), where he quickly rose to lead the Science Department. Recognized for his leadership and integrity, he was promoted to Deputy General Director, managing human resources, finance, and academic quality for six years. His trajectory continued as General Director, a role he held for seven years, where he transformed the school’s operations and outcomes through strategic vision and empathetic leadership.
In 2022, he brought his wealth of experience to the Commercial Graduates Association (CGA) as General Manager, where he continues to drive organizational growth through innovation, resource management, and community engagement.
Ato Nebiyu’s impact extends beyond his formal roles. A firm believer in giving back, he serves as Vice President of the Addis Ababa Tennis Federation and Secretary General of the Ethiopian Professional Association Alliance. His leadership in these civic roles reflects his commitment to nurturing talent, promoting civic responsibility, and building inclusive platforms for community development.
