About Us

EPAA works towards bringing the fragmented efforts of individual Professional associations into a concerted and united manner to attain its missions and vision. The Alliance closely works with many national, continental and international partners and collaborators to facilitate and accelerate the country’s priority issues of different concern.
Ethiopian Professional Association Alliance (EPAA) is a non-for-profit, voluntary, multidisciplinary consortium of professional associations established in October 2022 and accorded a legal personality with registry number of 6579 by the Authority for Civil Society Organizations according to Proclamation 113/2019. Its member organizations are of varying categories of professional associations.

Objectives

To ensure collaboration amongst professional associations through providing meaningful support to them and better address their rights and benefits.
To strengthen and expand national continental and international collaborative efforts and networks so as to bring quality profession.
To strengthen, support and encourage new professional associations with due emphasis to neglected professions through providing relevant professional and materials support.
To provide tailored training and professional advice to the government and other organizations as deemed necessary, organizing scientific conferences and conducting research and innovations.
To create strong collaboration amongst member professional associations and build their image through creating platforms including but not limited to organizing sport and other festivals.
To undergo national and international award and recognition programs.
To serve the nation and beyond as a center of excellence for Continuous Professional Development
